Terms of Service

Welcome to CornJob. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our web application, services and related features, including credit purchases, job creation, candidate assessments and any integrations we provide (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions
  • Account

    An individual or organization profile registered on the Service.

  • Credits

    The unit used to consume features (e.g., create a job, add candidates). Credits are sold in packs and may include progressive discounts.

  • You / User

    The natural person or legal entity using the Service.

  • We / Us / CornJob

    The Service provider and owner of this website.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction and have the legal authority to accept these Terms. When creating an account, you must provide accurate and complete information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security incident.

3. Permitted Use and Restrictions

You may use the Service solely in accordance with these Terms and all applicable laws. You agree not to (a) misuse, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Service; (b) attempt to access data without authorization; (c) upload malicious code; (d) violate privacy or intellectual property rights; (e) use the Service to discriminate, harass, or engage in unlawful conduct; (f) resell or provide the Service to third parties without our written permission; (g) attempt to circumvent quotas, security, or usage limits.

We may monitor usage to ensure compliance and quality, and may suspend or limit access if we detect abuse, excessive load, or breaches of these Terms.

4. Credits and Progressive Discounts

The Service operates on a credit system. Creating a job consumes a base credit amount and adding candidates consumes additional credits per candidate. Credit packs may include progressive discounts based on the quantity purchased, as disclosed on our Pricing page. A minimum purchase value may apply. Your effective per‑credit price for a pack equals the total paid for that pack divided by the total credits in the pack after applicable discounts.

Credits are non‑transferrable and intended for use within your account. Promotional or courtesy credits may be subject to additional conditions. We may adjust tiers, discounts, or pricing in the future; changes do not affect completed purchases.

5. Payments, Billing, and Refunds

Payments are processed by trusted third‑party providers (e.g., Stripe). By purchasing credits, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your selected payment method for the amount shown at checkout, including any taxes where applicable. Receipts and invoices may be provided electronically.

Refunds are available for unused credits at our discretion. Credits already consumed to create jobs or evaluate candidates are not refundable. We may decline repeated or abusive refund requests. Refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take time to appear on your statement. For assistance, contact support@cornjobs.com.

Unless otherwise stated, credits do not expire; if this policy changes, we will provide reasonable notice.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

We collect and process personal data as described in our Privacy practices. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data; however, no system is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your devices and credentials secure and for configuring any privacy settings that may affect your use of the Service.

Where required by law, we will enter into appropriate data processing terms. If you handle personal data of candidates or other individuals, you are responsible for having a lawful basis and complying with applicable privacy laws.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, interfaces, designs, text, graphics, and trademarks, is owned by CornJob or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted to you, no rights are transferred. You may not remove, alter, or obscure proprietary notices.

You retain ownership of content you upload to the Service, but grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service and as otherwise permitted by law.

8. User Content and Responsibilities

You are responsible for the content you submit (e.g., job descriptions, candidate data, templates) and for ensuring it is accurate, lawful, and does not violate rights of others. You must not upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringing. We may remove or restrict content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or the law.

9. Third‑Party Services and Integrations

The Service may depend on or interoperate with third‑party services (e.g., email delivery, payments, analytics). We are not responsible for third‑party services, their terms, or their availability. Your use of third‑party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

10. Service Changes, Availability, and Support

We continuously improve the Service and may add, modify, or discontinue features. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance or incidents may affect availability. We provide reasonable support via our channels; support scope may vary by plan and is provided on a commercially reasonable efforts basis.

11. Warranties Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON‑INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR‑FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL CORNJOB BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY UNDER THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICE THAT GAVE RISE TO THE CLAIM DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN SUCH CASES, THE FOREGOING WILL APPLY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED.

13. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CornJob and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, pose security or legal risks, or cause harm to the Service or others. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, but sections that by their nature should survive will survive (e.g., IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification).

15. Export and Compliance

You represent that you are not located in a jurisdiction subject to comprehensive sanctions and that you will not use the Service in violation of export control or sanctions laws.

16. Beta Features and Previews

From time to time we may offer beta or experimental features. Such features are provided for evaluation without any warranties and may be changed or discontinued at any time. We may collect feedback to improve these features.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will provide notice by posting the updated Terms and updating the "Last Updated" date below and, where appropriate, by additional notice. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
